Made in India Citron C3 in the Global Market 2021: The company has decided to internationally design and manufacture the Citroen ‘C3’ model car entirely in India.

The Citroen C3 has been built for the Indian market as well as the Latin American market. The car will be manufactured at the company’s Thiruvallur plant in Chennai and it will be launched in December this year.
The company said in a statement:
The C3 model is designed and built for a length of less than 4 meters with SUV features. Its may be if all fine then Citron C3 on sale early next year. This model will be sold in the Indian and South American markets.

Apart from this, two more models will be made in India. India will soon be at the third position in the world car market. Keeping this in mind, news has come that Citroen will launch 3 new models in the next 3 years.
Citroen has an R&D center in Chennai. The company has a car manufacturing plant at Tiruvallur near Chennai. The company also has an engine division plant at Hosur.
