This makes the Adani Group the largest private airport management company in India.
The Adani Group, which already owns the management rights of 8 airports, has become a sole proprietorship with 25% ownership of Indian airports. It also owns 33 percent of the freight airline.

Adani Group takes over management control of Mumbai International Airport
The Adani Group will start construction of the Navi Mumbai International Airport within the next month. The airport will be open to the public in 2024.
Adani Group acquired six airports
Earlier in 2020, Adani Group acquired six airports including Mangalore, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Guwahati, Jaipur and Thiruvananthapuram.
Upgrade world-class airports
Gautam Adani has expressed his desire to upgrade world-class airports and merge the country’s Tier 1 cities with Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, which currently hold the management rights of the Mumbai airport.
