In its initial phase, Reliance Jio has strategically launched the “Jio Air Fiber” service in major metropolitan areas like Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Chennai. The deployment leverages Jio’s extensive optical fibre infrastructure, which spans 1.5 lakh kilometers across the length and breadth of India.

Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman Mukesh Ambani revealed the company’s ambitious vision during the annual meeting and announced its target of expanding the reach of “Jio Air Fiber” to 200 million homes and premises across the country.
